Prior to being hired at Birmingham & Mackeson, LLP, Danielle Shirtcliff had several years of experience working for both the Benton and Marion County District Attorney's Offices. While there, she tried a variety of criminal cases, focusing on DUII prosecution. As a defense attorney, Danielle has successfully defended clients in cases ranging from DUII to sex abuse. Her experience as a prosecutor has given Danielle the experience and insight to negotiate and communicate successfully with the other side.
Danielle is a native of Oregon who comes from the small hard-working town of Myrtle Creek. That work ethic and desire to succeed has driven Danielle through a B.A. in political science at Oregon State University and a successful career at Willamette University School of Law.
Competitive all her life, Danielle enjoys playing a wide vairiety of sports. While an undergraduate at Oregon State, Danielle played on the Oregon State club volleyball team as well as participating in flag football. At Willamette, she also participated in moot court competitions and graduated in the top half of her class.
Danielle is admitted to practice law in the Oregon state courts as well as federal courts and is a member of the Clackamas, Washington and Multnomah bar associations. She also belongs to the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Bar Association.
